Welcome, Saratoga Parents!

Hello! My husband and I are members of the Baha'i Faith of the San Jose area, who believe that world peace starts with our children, and who believe children need to be in an atmosphere of love and spirit so they can grow. The Baha'i Faith is a global religion, with no clergy- some principles are:
1. independent investigation of truth
2. the oneness of God
3. the oneness of religion- that even though we all see God in a different way, we all fundamentally worship the same Great Mystery
4. the onenness of humanity and the appreciation of the diversity of all peoples
5. the abolition of all prejudices
6. equality of men and women
7. unity of religion and science
8. walking the spiritual path with practical feet
9. A spiritual solution to the problems of the world

Our hope is that through children's songs with some Baby Signs, quotes or prayers from the religions of the world, activities which develop virtues and field trips which uphold the above principles our children will grow up to be happy and loving global citizens. We hope to consult together as a group for many more ideas.
