Parenting in Columbus Playgroup (PICP)

The PARENTING IN COLUMBUS PLAYGROUP is an active group, comprised of single, married, stay-at-home and working women from Columbus, Ft. Benning, Phenix City and the surrounding areas. Our Members range in ages from 19 to 56 with babies from newborns to teens.

The PICP was created in order to provide a place where parents could find friendship and support while their children play together. We plan time for the children AND for the Mamas!

We offer quite a variety of events. Our schedule includes Moms Morning Out, All Ages Playgroup, Tiny Tots, Walks in the Park, Devotionals, Cooking, Scrapbooking, Craft, Library Storytime, Gymnastics, Monkey Joe's, Day Trips, Birthday Celebrations, Baby Showers, Pottery Making, Mommy Lunches, Pampering Nite, Family Game Nite, Bunco, Knitting, Cloth Diaper and Breastfeeding Support, Tours of local businesses and last minute meetups!

Our sponsors include Monkey Joe's, Time2Remember Portrait Artists and Party City!

Events are planned at various times of the week in order to provide opportunities for participation.
