We started this playgroup so our children can grow up with other vegan children. I feel like it's so important for children to have friends that they see on a regular basis to build trust in other humans. Being vegan makes it harder and more confusing to build that trust. But getting this group together helps us to find other vegan children, and to show them that it can be easy because they are not alone. We often do picnics, get together at someones house, take short trips, restaurants, but most of all just to have fun with our kids!

ANYONE (Vegan or interested in Veganisim) is more then welcome to join.

Being vegan means one thing to me: an attempt to reduce the intense suffering of nonhuman animals. All of our events held will have food that is PURE VEGAN (no animal products including meat, dairy, cheese, yogurt, honey...). If you would like to bring anything to our potlucks please bring vegan items only.

What members are saying

Thank you so much, Shilpah, for arranging this! We had a terrific time and I really enjoyed meeting so many like-minded folks. ...

It was a well organized group, with lot of kids activities in a fun outdoor setting. It was nice to meet everyone in the group in this informal setting.
