Welcome!

Meet with moms of color and their children from the Northwest Suburbs who are interested in meeting up once or twice per month to engage in general play at scheduled locations, visit cultural sites, and learn more about each other. This meetup group is available for residents of the the northwest suburbs (from Algonquin to Rolling Meadows, IL) whose children are infants up to eight years old. While many of our children have friends of all races and nationalities, our meetup group will provide intentional exposure to children whose experiences might be similar because of their racial and ethnic background. Activities and outings will be age appropriate. Our meetup group will also give moms the opportunity to interact. Activities will be scheduled on weekends to allow working mothers to participate.

We'll also be looking for an assistant organizer, especially as our size grows. Please consider joining our West Suburban Moms of Color Play Group if you live outside of our geography.
