Below are a few of our groups guidelines


Events:

We are a very active stay-at-home moms and working moms group and regularly get together. Most of our events are child friendly and geared for infants and children and parents.
Some of our events include the Louisiana Children's Museum, Aquarium of the Americas, Zoo, Party Palace, park visits, etc. Our adult events are Mom's Night Out and tea time. Our adult and child friendly events are mostly park visits and weekend events.


Attendance Policy:

To keep our group active, we ask that members minimally attend an event at least every 30 days. If a member does not attend within that time frame, the member is removed; however, she is welcome to request to rejoin when her schedule permits attending regularly.


Membership Fees:

To join this group is free thanks to the organizer's husband who has agreed to pay the bi-yearly fees through his Oreck Clean Home Store located at 1801 Manhattan Boulevard in Harvey on the Westbank.


Illness Policy:

In order to keep the spread of illness to a minimum, we ask that you not attend our events if your child has a rash (other than on diaper area), fever of 101 degrees or above, vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours or a communicable disease such as chicken pox or head lice. Please use your best judgment when you or your children have any illnesses.


No-Show Policy:

The members of our group work very hard to plan great events for you and your children to attend and it is very discouraging for a host when people who RSVP yes do not show up, While we understand things happen we ask you to simply change your RSVP. The new no show policy is as follows:
if you have rsvped yes to an event within a 30 day period and have not shown up your membership is subject to removal at the organizers discretion.

RSVPing:

The organizer asks that you RSVP to every event. RSVPing is a very important part of our events and planning. We are continuously adding new events to the calendar so please update RSVPs. If you find that you are not able to make it to an event please change your RSVP accordingly.

24 hours or less prior to every event, either the organizer or one of the assistant organizers will RSVP No for you if you haven't RSVP'd at all.

When RSVPing for yourself and children please do not add the children as guests, only add guests if you plan on bringing someone other than your children with you (friend not in the group).
