Are you a parent of an only child and looking for opportunities for your child to interact with other kids? I?m hoping to start a local playgroup for families with one child (by chance or by choice). Our kids will have a chance to play together and possibly form long-lasting friendships while us parents can share ideas on the unique joys and challenges of raising an only. I know my five-year old daughter is always asking for other kids to join us for family activities. This group is open to any family in the Boston area, but preferably families would be close to the Metrowest area (I?m in Waltham) and have kids in a similar age range. Check out this link to an article on playgroups for only children.

“ It is nice to meet in a playground setting where the kids can play and the adults can chat a bit. Murphy playground is great for us because it is prety close. ”
