All you need to do is come to meetups frequently, be social and friendly, and the rest will fall into place naturally. Keep in mind common rules of courtesy, and you will find some wonderful friendships here!  

We're a group of mothers whose oldest children were born in 2005 or 2006. Most of us also have younger children, but our meetup schedule reflects that many of them are in some type of school most days. We love to get the kids together for park days whenever possible, especially on school breaks. With a 2 year old, it is both hard to be reliable and hard to be spontaneous. The purpose of this group is for any member to suggest a meetup, basically a playdate, and hopefully you will attract other members with same age kids in your area. Lifelong friends are great. School is a few years away. Lots of play and lots of fun is the idea. Anyone with at least 1 2009 born child should join. Everyone needs to post playdate suggestions as often as possible, to make this maximum fun.
