This group was started so that women living in the Chicago Western suburbs (Elmhurst, Lombard, Oakbrook, etc) would have an avenue to meet new people, make new friends and also have a place to organize meetups, playgroups and outings. I am a mom with a 2 ½ year old daughter and another on the way. I just moved to Thornwood and previously could walk outside at any given time to find kids playing and parents socializing.
