The Astoria German Playgroup was founded by Naomi Jakob with a handful of German-speaking parents in 2008. Since then, the membership of the meet-up has grown to over 110 families. This group is for moms of toddlers ranging in age from 2 - 5 years old. We meet during the week to socialize our toddlers and get the benefit of meeting friendly moms in the process. This is a playgroup for all moms on Long Island with infants and toddlers. We welcome new members and are growing everyday! Our event calendar is very active in both Nassau and Suffolk counties. We are an early education school located in New Hyde Park. We have Mommy and me, Nursery, Pre K, and Enrichment classes. We are open 7 days a week. Besides the program in our school, we also have monthly activities for ages 6 months to 5 year olds. You do NOT have to be member of our school to join us at our meetup activities.
